Long waits for GPs due to shortages and increased illnesses
Overworked GPs are warning the shortage of doctors and amount of illness in the community will come to a head this winter. Data from Australia’s largest health booking agency shows the average wait time to get an appointment has blown out. In some states almost doubling since 2019.
