Name discrimination still 'prevalent' in Australia
Name discrimination includes everything from job and rental application rejections to social exclusion and even repeated mispronunciation. Australia's Race Discrimination Commissioner says improved data collection and stronger laws are needed but increasing awareness about an "insidious" form of racism is just as important.
