Opposition calls for increase security funding

The Federal Opposition is urging the government to increase funding for security agencies before women and children are brought back from Syria. Plans are underway to repatriate dozens of citizens that have been in detention camps in Syria since the fall of the so-called Islamic State. Most are family members of Islamic State group fighters. The government is yet to provide any details, but violent extremism experts say surveillance and reintegration will be crucial.
