Perrottet defends jobs cuts to public service

June 18, 20179. NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet speaks to reporters in Sydney after delivering his third budget. Mr Perrottet provides detail on jobs cuts arising from the budget. "You're probably looking in the tune of between 2000 to 3000 cuts... we have a public service that's 330,000, this accounts for 1 per cent," Mr Perrottet says. "If the government can't find 1 per cent of efficiencies, we're in the wrong game." Mr Perrottet says the jobs cuts will not affect front line services. (AAP Video/Michael Wade)
