USask project locating unmarked grave sites could aid in Canadian reconciliation efforts

Archaeology and biology students at the University Of Saskatchewan are getting hands-on experience, locating unmarked or shifted gravesites in an old Saskatoon cemetery with a variety of non-intrusive imaging and topographical technologies. The research could aid in locating the unmarked graves of First Nations children who did not survive the Canadian residential school system.
