Ryan Reynolds discussed everything from "Deadpool 2" to awkward fan encounters as he appeared on Friday's "The Graham Norton Show".

Reynolds, 41, who chatted to host Norton, 55, alongside co-star Josh Brolin, 50, recalled one bizarre moment in his career when he was high-fived on a plane by a man as his dying wife was taken away on a stretcher.

The actor explained, “I was on a plane with a honeymooning couple and the bride became very ill – not just throwing up ill, but really painting with her internal organs."

He continued, "She was taken off the plane on a stretcher it was so bad. As her new husband followed her out he spotted me and shouted, 'Deadpool. High five!’

"It was a surreal moment – firstly, I didn’t want to high five him just in case he was infected and secondly, he seemed to have no concern for his dying wife!”

The Canadian star also spoke out about the "Deadpool" sequel, with him admitting: “It’s bolder and nuttier than the first. We’ve pushed things further. It’s supercharged and we are pumped up about it.”

However, despite loving filming the movies, Reynolds admitted there was one tricky thing about having to be in costume.

He shared, “It is so tight. I am terrified I am going to throw up in the mask. There is no space in there at all!”

"Deadpool 2" hits theatres on May 16.
