Here comes the bride! Marta Ortega, daughter of billionaire Zara founder Amancio Ortega, has said "I do" to Carlos Torretta, the model son of a fashion designer, on Friday (Nov. 16). The two exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at their home in Galicia, Spain, the kickoff to a weekend of festivities that will include a cocktail party this evening followed by a lavish soiree on Saturday night. The heiress's first bridal wedding look was an uber-chic Valentino ensemble that will surely have fashionistas fawning for days.

The 34-year-old absolutely stunned in the striking yet understated custom couture look by the Italian fashion house's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, which featured a high neck, sheer puffed sleeves and a tie around the waist of her structured floor-length skirt all in a pale pink hue. In a statement, he called the design contemporary yet romantic. "I wanted to transmit an imaginary with an unusual sense of romanticism, full of lightness, freshness and intention to illustrate her strength," he said in a statement, which we translated from Spanish. The beautiful bride topped it off with a floral crown on her beachy blonde waves and an elegant veil.

The couple was photographed by icon Peter Lindbergh in their wedding ensembles. Looking totally in love, Marta posed with her 35-year-old husband, who wore a simple yet dapper suit and patterned tie with his long, dark hair tied back. This is the second wedding for Marta, who shares a five-year-old son with her first husband, show jumper Sergio Alvarez Moya.

The wedding ceremony was followed by a lavish cocktail party at the Royal Yacht Club in A Caruna, the newlywed's hometown, with another glamorous celebration to take over the Casas Novas equestrian centre on Saturday night. A whopping 400 guests are expected to attend, according to the Daily Mail, and men were asked to wear tuxedos - though it's expected that her father will wear a suit made at "one of the local factories of his retail empire Inditex," of which Zara was the first brand. Marta will surely wear something spectacular, as will her star-studded guests.

Revellers are reported to include Bruce Springsteen's daughter, Jessica, and heiress equestrian Athina Onassis, plus royal Charlotte Casiraghi, who recently gave birth to her second child. Carlos, a former New York agent to supermodels like Adriana Lima and Kendall Jenner, is sure to have many famous guests as well. Marta's father, who stepped down as president of Inditex in 2011, is worth an estimated US$70 billion.
