Comedian Nate Bargatze coming to Regina in June

The Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) announced Tuesday that American comedian Nate Bargatze is bringing The Raincheck Tour to the Brandt Centre on June 17.

Tickets go on sale Friday (Feb. 18) at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

Bargatze is coming off last year’s release of his second Netflix special, The Greatest Average American. It’s nominated for a 2022 Grammy Award in the best-comedy-album category.

Bargatze’s debut album, Yelled At By A Clown, hit No. 2 on Billboard’s top 10 comedy list in 2012 and his subsequent release, Full Time Magic, made it to No. 1 in 2015. That same year, he was one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” and No. 1 on Vulture’s “50 Comedians You Should Know.”

The Raincheck Tour is to feature all new material.

“… Bargatze has been selling out shows across the world,” REAL said in a media release. “His comedy is both clean and relatable, which is evident in his 10 appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and four appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In March 2019, Bargatze’s first solo one-hour Netflix special, The Tennessee Kid, premiered globally with rave reviews.”
