Wonder Woman is one of the comic book characters that can instantly rouse childhood memories. However, it is only recently that a movie has realistically rendered the character that has defined a lot of children growing up.

After seeing Gal Gadot’s breathtaking acting in the movie, many people now wonder how the actress has prepared for the titular character. The strength and agility, fine contours of her beautiful face and slender body had captured and left viewers surprised.

Before becoming Wonder Woman, Gadot was a struggling actress in the expansive fabric of entertainment business that is Hollywood, a wife and a mom. Learning her background has increased people’s intrigue even more. How exactly did she prepare for the part?

Fitting inside a costume and looking strong are two things that cannot be achieved overnight. These require a lot of effort and time. Gadot used to train in the gym for two hours, did fight choreography for an additional two hours and participated in horse riding for another two hours.

These may sound like something a gym lover would do, but in truth, the actress is not fond of working out as her perseverance was the primary facet that helped her get through the rigorous workout.

Moreover, Gadot did paddleboards and TRX training, which kept her lean. She paired these with rock climbing sessions that provided her a lot of upper body strength.

To achieve Wonder Woman’s chiseled abs and shoulders, she did rowing exercises, mountain climbers, broad burpee jumps, bird dog, push-ups and pull-ups.

Mark Twight, her trainer for the movie, was stunned when he first met Gadot. Twight revealed that the actress used to have an overly lean body that did not at all look the part. However, after the intense training she went through, she became someone who flaunted muscles.

Furthermore, the other reason Gadot was able to achieve the ideal superhero form was because of her diet. During her preparation, she drank loads of water and was careful about food portions. Her diet included green juices and healthy amounts of protein.

Truly, becoming a superhero entails a lot of responsibility, including staying fit and working hard.
