Trudeau reacts to independent report on RCMP's “toxic" environment
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reacted on Thursday to an independent report by former Supreme Court justice Michel Bastarache that says the RCMP’s culture is “toxic” and tolerates hateful and homophobic attitudes, saying that if an organization can’t keep its own members protected from harassment and discrimination, “how can Canadians have confidence in them to keep them safe?”
