A driver failed a roadside breath test after a “road rage incident” on Island Park Drive on Tuesday night, National Division RCMP said.

The driver’s alcohol reading was triple the legal limit, police said Wednesday on social media. They were charged with driving while under suspension and impaired driving.

Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 extra days and their vehicle was seized for seven days.

The RCMP said the incident involving two vehicles happened at the intersection of Island Park Drive and Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway at 5:49 p.m. on Tuesday.

No further details were released as the incident was still under investigation, police said.
