Adding to the list of bizarre police cases, a Kingston Woman with a pitchfork was arrested after attacking her brother and a parked car before running from police. In a news release, Kingston Police reported that on July 11, 2019, at approximately 7:15 AM a male awoke to sounds of breaking glass in his home. He went downstairs to find his 29-year-old sister, in her underwear. This is where the story gets interesting.

Police report that the sister, who lives with the male victim, was throwing items around the living room and threw a teapot through the window, shattering the glass. That's when her brother attempted to get out of the house.

The female suspect followed him out of the house, still in just her underwear. She threw a vacuum at her brother and punched him and scratched him. Police report that she then grabbed a pitchfork, though it's not clear from where, and started attacking a parked vehicle, damaging the mirror.

Shortly after that, Kingston Police responded to the scene and found the woman still in the front yard, swinging around the pitchfork. However, when police arrived she dropped the fork and fled around the house. There, police found her attempting to hide in a small plastic kiddie pool. The story doesn't end there though.

From the pool she then ran away from police for a second time, jumping over a chain link fence and running down the street. Fortunately, after a brief chase, police were able to catch and arrest the woman, placing her in the back of a police car.

As if this wasn't bad enough, once in the police car the woman proceeded to smash the plexiglass and damage the mess barrier that blocks off the back seat. They were eventually able to transfer her to Kingston Police headquarters and hold her until her bail hearing on Friday.

As for why all of this happened, Kingston Police report that the young woman was under the influence of crystal meth. The illegal drug gives users a powerful rush, making them feel energetic but can also cause paranoia and hallucinations.

It's unclear if she will face any drug charges, but currently, the woman has been charged with assault and mischief under $5000.
