Toronto police say they seized several firearms and made several arrests after they were called around mid-morning Saturday to the scene of an Etobicoke house party that was still going on from Friday night.

Const. Scott Mills said police got calls from residents about “suspicious people out front,” adding that they were “basically intoxicated.”

Officers arrived at the home on Meadowbank Rd., seized several firearms and made several arrests, Mills said. He said the numbers have not been confirmed as the investigation is ongoing.

No injuries were reported and the area is believed to be safe.
