Teachers say they are ‘stretched’ responding to social media impacts in classrooms

As part of its new series “Influenced,” Global News spoke to teachers, school boards, government ministers and youth mental health experts about how social media has made classroom teaching harder, and the impact the apps have had on students’ lives. Teachers say they are “stretched” responding to more mental health and physical issues than before social media became dominant, while experts say young people need more support and guidance.
