Abbotsford trial pits activists against hog farm, the police, and the BCSPCA
The trial began Monday, for three animal activists facing several charges stemming from a 2019 protest at Excelsior farms in Abbotsford. Court heard the first testimony as the Crown laid out its case against Amy Soranno, Nick Schafer, and Roy Sosano. Grace Ke reports.
