
City of Montreal holds public hearings in to police street checks
Members of Montreal's public security committee got an earful from community groups on Friday. The committee held public hearings into routine street checks by Montreal police -- a practice that has been condemned by local politicians. As Global's Phil Carpenter explains, some people feel the police department has a long way to go to restore public trust.
