Ontario election: Liberal, NDP and Green leaders criticize Ford for COVID-19 handling as PC leader defends actions
Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford was on the defence Monday as he was criticized by Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath and Green Leader Mike Schreiner for the actions he took during the COVID-19 pandemic, including how the province reopened in early 2021. Ford defended his actions though, including on building the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE). He said he recognized not everything was perfect but noted he was working on the pandemic "literally 24-7."
