Trudeau defends timing of formal opposition to Line 5 pipeline shutdown demand

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended the timing by the government of a formal filing of opposition in U.S. court to the demand by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for Calgary-based Enbridge to shut down the Line 5 pipeline. He also rejected the Conservatives' question of whether the filing was an admission that Trudeau's outreach to U.S. President Joe Biden had "failed."
