Quebec adopts controversial Bill 96 language reform
The Quebec legislature has voted to adopt Bill 96, the Coalition Avenir Québec government's language reform. The controversial bill passed Tuesday despite opposition from the Liberals and Parti Québécois. As Global’s Olivia O'Malley reports, the legislation intends to strengthen the French-language charter known as Bill 101.
