York Regional Police have arrested a suspect after a man allegedly exposed himself on multiple occasions over the weekend in Richmond Hill.

The first incident happened Saturday around 10:25 a.m. at Alias Grace Park. Cops say a mother was with her two children when they were approached by a man who pulled down his pants and exposed himself.

The next day, police had three more reports of a man with the same description exposing himself to people in the areas of Valmont Ave. and Waterstone St.

Police on Monday released an image of a suspect and, crediting tips from the public, say they issued a search warrant at 6 a.m. Tuesday at a residence.

A 30-year-old man from Richmond Hill has been charged with five counts of indecent acts and one count of indecent exposure.

Police say that “due to factors associated to the accused, his name will not be released at this time.”
