This dog will take a belly rub just about anywhere he can get it.

A soccer game between Chile and Venezuela’s national women’s teams was momentarily stopped on Saturday after a dog ran onto the field and wanted belly rubs from the players.

According to Uproxx , the incident took place at Estadio La Granja in Chile.

The game remained scoreless heading into the second half when a dog was seen sprinting onto the field and then laying down in front of Chilean goalkeeper Christine Endler, who rubbed the canine’s belly with a large smile on her face.

The animal attempted to solicit more petting from the players before being guided off the field by players Yenny Acuña and Javiera Toro of Chile.

Luck wasn’t on the side for Chile, however, as Venezuela took home the winning purse with a final 1-0 score after a goal by Mariana Speckmaier.
