Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez confirms engagement to Riley Roberts
NBC News reports Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter on May 19 to confirm that she's engaged to her longtime boyfriend. In a separate tweet, the 32-year-old congresswoman revealed that Roberts proposed "about a month ago". Business Insider reports AOC and Roberts met in 2011 as undergraduate students at Boston University. After graduation, they broke up and Roberts moved to Arizona. Roberts later moved to New York and the pair started dating again. While Ocasio-Cortez rarely posts about her relationship with Roberts online. she did share a Christmas greeting in December of the couple posing with her dog, Deco.
