Ed Sheeran helped pay for Tom Parker's medical treatment
The Wanted singer was diagnosed with an operable brain tumour in October 2020, and after a long fight, died at the age of 33 in March.In an excerpt of Tom's upcoming memoir, titled Hope: My Inspirational Journey, obtained by The Sun the star revealed that the Shape of You hitmaker had been very supportive of him and his family. "Pretty much from the moment I was diagnosed, Ed Sheeran reached out to me with an offer to do anything he could to help. Ed and I have known each other since he joined The Wanted on our tour bus."
