Metallica announces new album and world tour
'Variety' reports that the veteran rockers have revealed that their 12th studio album, '72 Seasons,' will drop on April 14. The album's first single, “Lux Æterna,” is available to listen to now. James Hetfield explained what the album title means to the band. "72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told 'who we are' by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are." James Hetfield, via 'Variety'.
