Calgary man convicted of murdering his wife has parole revoked

A man convicted of strangling his wife in 2012 and burying her body in a cement wall in a basement is going back to prison. Allan Shyback was sentenced to 10 years for the murder of his wife Lisa Mitchell. The Parole Board of Canada revoked the day parole Allan Shyback was granted in February saying he was being deceitful in some of his answers at a hearing for full parole. The board said Shyback had violated some terms of his day parole earlier this year including going on Tinder and a relationship with a sex worker at a massage parlour. The victim's mother, Peggy Mitchell, gave an impassioned plea to the board to reject full parole calling Shyback a liar and a murderer.
