
David Johnston floats idea of separate election debate for main leaders
During a public appearance in Ottawa Tuesday, former governor general David Johnston discussed some of the considerations of the debates commission, which organized the two main leaders debates during the election. He says having six leaders and five moderators made for a busy stage and mused about the idea of adding more debates in future to include just two or three leaders in some debates and a larger group of leaders in others.
