Manitoba premier concerned about Quebec's religious symbols law

Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister says he intends to raise concerns about Quebec’s religious symbols law directly with the province’s premier. The two premiers are attending an annual meeting with the country's provincial and territorial leaders in Saskatoon. Pallister said Wednesday Quebec’s legislation is “dangerous” and “un-Canadian.” Quebec Premier Francois Legault believes the law is a matter that should be left to Quebec’s residents and its premier.
