Actor Rip Torn dead at 88

According to his publicist, Rip Torn, the Emmy-winning actor died on Tuesday at home with his wife and daughters. The cause of death has not been revealed. Born Elmore Rual Torn, he took on the name Rip as a child and made his film debut in 1956's "Baby Doll." The Texan is also known for his roles in "Men in Black," "City Heat," "DodgeBall," and the "The Larry Sanders Show," which he won an Emmy for. He is survived by his wife Amy, his six kids and his four grandchildren. Tributes poured in from celebrities on social media. Torn's fellow "Men in Black" co-star, Will Smith, posted a tribute to his Instagram account.
