Robert Downey Jr. opens up about his 'Iron Man' and MCU retirement

"Avengers: Endgame" was the final appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Chris Evans' Captain America. But in a new Interview, Tony Stark himself says it was the right time for both characters to retire. Disney honoured Downey Jr. this past weekend at the D23 expo for his work in helping start the MCU. Marvel Studios is now heading into "Phase 4," which will centre around the introduction of many new characters. The next slate of films include a "Doctor Strange" sequel and "Thor: Love and Thunder."
