Time ticking down for expat voters, chief electoral officer says

Canada’s chief electoral officer says voters living outside of Canada who wish to participate in the coming election have about a week or 10 days to get registered and request their ballot. Speaking at a press conference in Ottawa, Stéphane Perrault also went over security measures and other procedures Elections Canada is putting in place for the vote on Oct. 1.
