Khloé Kardashian learned about Tristan Thompson's paternity scandal through Kim
Khloé Kardashian has confirmed she found out about her then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson's paternity scandal through her sister Kim Kardashian.
In December 2021, it was reported that Maralee Nichols had filed a paternity lawsuit claiming the basketball star fathered her child and he later confirmed the news and issued an apology to Khloé, who he had reportedly been dating at the time his son was conceived.
It wasn't the first time Khloé and Tristan's relationship had been rocked by infidelity. He previously cheated on her when she was pregnant with their four-year-old daughter True, and they split up in February 2019 after he kissed Kylie Jenner's then-best friend Jordyn Woods.

During an appearance on Dear Media's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, the reality star confirmed she found out about the paternity scandal through her sister Kim, and cameras for their show The Kardashians were rolling at that moment.
"Every time this happens - which is so sad that it's happened multiple times - but somehow there are always, like, cameras are with them," Khloé said. "Kim was filming at like 6 am, a workout because I think her and Kanye were doing something with the kids. So randomly, they were filming, and Kim was in the gym, and she, in real-time, found out the information. I found out through Kim. A sister always tells me."
She added, "I found out (about Tristan's cheating) every time through a sister. And I find out with the rest of the world, which is like the most offensive part. I mean, all of it is f**ked up, but I just like, can there be like a little respect, could you have let me know before I find out on Daily Mail? That would be nice."
After splitting in 2019, Khloé and Tristan rekindled their relationship in August 2020 after quarantining together during the pandemic, but they broke up again in 2021.
