Upcoming Marvel movies: Every new MCU film and TV show in the works

Pocket-lint Logo By pocket-lint.com of Pocket-lint | Slide 3 of 27: Release date: 3 September 2021 Shang-Chi, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is the first Asian superhero for Marvel to be put on the big screen. Simu Liu has been tapped as the master of Kung-Fu, Shang Chi, and he'll face off with The Mandarin, who is played by Tony Leung Chiu-wai. Hardcore Marvel fans will recognize that The Mandarin is sort of in Iron Man 3, with Ben Kingsley playing the role. However, it's revealed he is not the real Mandarin but merely an actor paid by the real villain, Aldrich Killian. This portrayal of the comic book baddie should be very different from Kingsley's.   Marvel recently released a new trailer for Shang Chi that shows off the Ten Rings of power alluded to in the title, as well as revealing a surprising fight scene between Tim Roth's Abomination, from the 2008's Incredible Hulk, and Doctor Strange's best bud and fellow sorcerer Wong, who's played by Benedict Wong.
