Rocket Man could soon be Your Song as the handwritten lyrics to Sir Elton John’s classic go under the hammer.

The words to the iconic 1972 hit also feature a series of space-themed doodles and are signed by the star’s co-writer, Bernie Taupin.

Bernie’s sale at Julien’s Auctions in California in November also features lyrics for Candle in the Wind and Bennie and The Jets.
