Lizzo annoys some family members with her provocative antics

During the Carpool Karaoke segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday, the Juice hitmaker explained that she had a strict upbringing as a child and some of her family members aren't impressed with her swearing in her songs and showing off her body. "For the first 10 years of my life, when we lived in Detroit, I was in The Church of God in Christ. When you have that faith, it is strict with the kind of music you listen to. We didn't listen to secular music, it was devil music."
