NEWS OF THE WEEK: Olivia Rodrigo and Kanye West top 2022 Billboard Music Awards
The Drivers License singer took home seven awards at the Las Vegas ceremony while Kanye won six, and Drake and Justin Bieber finished the night with five. Olivia won the award for Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist and Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, while her debut album Sour won Top Billboard 200 Album. Kanye swept the Christian and gospel music categories, winning the Top Christian Artist and Top Gospel Artist accolades as well the album prizes for Donda and song awards for Hurricane.
