Who's the baddest witch in town? The eighth season of American Horror Story, that's who! Ryan Murphy confirmed on Thursday that the upcoming eighth installment of his horror anthology series will be the long-rumoured crossover between Murder House (season 1) and Coven (season 3). This is just about the best news AHS fans could hope for, because you never really know what you might get with that show at this point. American Horror Story: The Internet? I don't know, it could happen.

Anyway, Ryan said that the new season is coming in September, which I can only hope means that Jessica Lange will be returning to the AHS fold after leaving in season 4. Lady Gaga is wonderful and all, but the children need Fiona. Also, just saying - Connie Britton has officially left the batshit-insane 9-1-1, so she could feasibly return as her Murder House character Vivien Harmon. It's! All! Happening!

"You will see so many fan favourites return that you'll feel like it's The Love Boat," Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weeklyearlier this month. "It's a very high concept." Sounds good, Ryan. My body is ready!
