Fake tan is part and parcel of the Strictly Come Dancing experience, but although the costumes are revealing, you don't need to be bronzed everywhere.

Unfortunately, no-one told that to Jeremy Vine, who has finally spilled the beans on the story of him getting his wobbly bits done.

Gangnam Styler Ed Balls was the one to reveal that fact, but at the time he didn't state who the prankster was. Now we know the full story.

In a promo video for the new series, the presenter said: "I was offered a fake tan, and of course I said 'yes', but then I thought 'I'm not sure what the procedure is'."

Professional dancer AljaĆŸ Ć korjanec told him: "You dance with your whole body, and you tan with your whole body," which convinced him to go get sprayed in the nuddy.

"The first time I realised that this might be unusual," he continued, "is when the the young lady who is doing the procedure says, 'Well, that's one off my bucket list!'.

"So I said, 'I thought everyone came...' She said, 'You're the first in all these years.'

"AljaĆŸ did me completely, I'm still so embarrassed by it."

That's way too much innuendo from Jeremy Vine there.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for its live shows on BBC One on Saturday, September 22.
