The Mandalorian's helmet for X-wing pilot is on sale

Star Wars is releasing a replica of an X-wing pilot helmet from The Mandalorian.

The latest replica merchandise coming from Disney is a life-size version of the helmet X-wing pilot Trapper Wolf wore in the first and second season of the Disney+ series.

Available for pre-order now for £139.00, this New Republic X-wing pilot helmet comfortably fits most adults with padding to make it easy to wear for cosplay… or just around the house!

The design has been re-sculpted from the actual model used for The Mandalorian, complete with light-up LED effects for display.

The helmet's shield also has a switch that can trigger scenes from the series itself, including Trapper Wolf on patrol of the Outer Rim of the galaxy.

There are sound cues too, including a message from fellow New Republic X-wing pilot Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), plus sights and sounds of Trapper Wolf chasing down Mando's Razor Crest.

As mentioned, you can place your order now ahead of a release next year, projected right now to be February 2023. This date may change.

The character of Trapper Wolf has become a favourite among Star Wars fans, as he's portrayed by The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars producer Dave Filoni.

This Trapper Wolf variation is one of several replica helmets released from The Mandalorian — other options include Din Djarin's Beskar helmet, one for Bo-Katan and another from the Death Watch.

The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+, while Rise of Skywalker is also on Sky Cinema Premiere and NOW.
