Dodgers Beat Cubs In Five, Reach World Series

(Reuters) - The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 11-1 on Thursday to clinch the National League Championship Series 4-1 and advance to Major League Baseball’s World Series for the first time since 1988. Los Angeles outfielder Enrique Hernandez struck three home runs, including a grand slam in the third inning at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Los Angeles will meet either the New York Yankees or Houston Astros in the World Series, which starts on Tuesday.
