BBC reports that actress Amber Heard has decided to settle her defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. In an Instagram post, Heard wrote that the "difficult" choice was "not an act of concession." Earlier in 2022, she and Depp faced off in a legal battle where jurors heard testimony that included intimate details of their relationship. At the end of the trial, jurors found that Heard had defamed her ex-husband in an article where she claimed to be the victim of abuse.
