Doctor Who's John Barrowman bringing back ITV's All Star Musicals for one-off special
All Star Musicals is set to return for a one-off special later this year, with host John Barrowman back in tow.
The ITV special will see six celebrities take part as they embark on a musicals masterclass, before taking to the stage themselves in a one-night extravaganza.
While the identity of the celebrities remains under wraps for now, we do know that stage legend Elaine Paige will lead a panel of critics, including a returning Trevor Dion-Nicholas (Hamilton) and Samantha Barks (Les Misérables).

Along the way, the celebs will be mentored by Elaine and supported by a West End chorus line, alongside training from expert choreographers and vocal coaches.

By the end, each star will be scored by a virtual audience and the critics, with the combined score determining the winner.
Excitingly, John, Elaine, Trevor and Samantha will also join together to perform an opening number, which we frankly cannot wait for.

All-Star Musicals, Daniel Brocklebank
"Now more than ever we're all in need of some fabulous musical entertainment and I can't wait to be reunited with Elaine on stage for All Star Musicals," John said. "We've got the most amazing show lined up with something for everyone and lots and lots of surprises!"
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV's Head of Entertainment Commissioning, added: "All Star Musicals returns to our screens at a time when we've been missing those powerful and thrilling live performances in the theatre. This one-off special will be a real celebration of musicals, and I can't wait to see the performances our celebrities deliver on stage."
All Star Musicals made its debut back in 2019, with Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank crowned the winner.
All Star Musicals will return to ITV later this year.
