Favourite TV shows that are actually reboots

Audiences used to tune into this early 2000s game show in order to get their weekly adrenaline rush by watching regular people submit themselves to a series of increasingly horrifying challenges. Host Joe Rogan would encourage contestants along as they consumed sheep eyeballs and allowed themselves to be strapped down in a pit of live rats for absolutely no good reason. MTV briefly rebooted the series in 2017 with music star Ludacris as host, but the show never replicated its earlier popularity. Perhaps that was because anyone looking for their regular dose of horror post-2016 could simply turn on the news at any given moment in the day.
