A Staffordshire neighbourhood has been named as one of the most relaxing places to live in the UK. According to new research, Lichfield was named as the seventh most relaxing place to live in the UK.

In a new study conducted by botanical experts Cannabotech, researchers used date from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) to analyse levels of happiness, life satisfaction, anxiety and worthiness in every city in the United Kingdom to establish which city is the most and least relaxed. In the research, Lichfield ranked seventh. Just up the road from Burton, Derby ranked 10th.

Lichfield has the fourth highest ranking of life satisfaction out of all 57 cities analysed as well as being the eighth happiest city, factors of which contribute to Lichfield's relaxed index score of 34, the seventh best in the UK. Derby finishes in tenth in the table with a relaxed index score of 56, finishing seventh in feeling worthwhile and low anxiety levels.
