Suzanne Thomas, from Birmingham, weighed more than 19 stone at her heaviest and admits she was a "human dustbin".

Now weighing a much more healthy 11 stone 1lbs, Suzanne used a BMI calculator to find her equivalent celebrity doppelganger before and after her weight loss .

When she started slimming last year she was shocked to discover she weighed the same as former wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson - better known as The Rock. But she now weighs the same as model Tyra Banks.

Suzanne, who has seven daughters, admits she piled on weight after her wedding in 2011 because she started grazing on her childrens’ leftovers.

“I was a human dustbin,” said the mum-of-seven. “I was snacking with the little one, and when the girls came back from school like were like locusts - so hungry.

“So I would eat biscuits and crisp with them. Then after I had cook them dinner I would hover up all their leftovers.

“My husband Michael is also a professional chef and works crazy long hours, so when he would get home we would sit together watching TV and snack on quick food like egg sandwiches.”

“I was exhausted, run down, and generally feeling awful,” said the 42-year-old.

“I was totally in denial. I would make excuses for social events, and then eventually the invitations dry up.

“I didn’t want to do anything, and I became isolated. I wouldn’t even look in the mirror.”

The image stuck with her, and she started to think about joining Slimming World.

“When I saw in was a size 22 I was a little insulted. When I saw the picture I thought ‘that’s not me!” I was gutted. I always thought pink was my colour and always looked good on me.”

Rather than walk to school to collect her daughters, she would drive as close as she could to the school gates so she wouldn’t get out of breath or even talk to the other parents.

“When I lost the weight for my wedding I felt so happy and had loads of energy.

“I had no energy - and with seven daughters I ended up with piles of washing everywhere.

“One of my teenage daughters came from school and told me that another pupil said she had a ‘fat mum’.

“I felt miserable, and I knew I had done it to myself.”

“I didn’t have a working pair of scales, and I guessed I was around 16 stone.

“When I saw I was 19 and a half I was absolutely horrified.”

Suzanne began the new meal plan and admits she found it very difficult at first.

Used to falling back on jars of curry and Dolmio sauces, she now had to cook from scratch.

“One of my daughters has severe asthma and has even ended up in HDU so I realised what rubbish I had been feeding her,” she said.

Suzanne started experimenting with recipes and planning meals.

She ditched sugar is her coffee, which would see her have up to eight teaspoons a day.

“Recently I went on a BMI calculator where they gave you an equivalent celebrity for your weight. I came up as The Rock! I couldn’t believe it.

“And now the equivalent is Tyra Banks- the presenter of America’s Next Top Model!”

Now Suzanne, who is 11 stone 1lbs and a size 10 to 12, has even joined the gym for the first time in her life and started weight lifting.

She said: “My daughters are very proud. It has had an affect on the whole family. Having a happy mum with energy is great for us all.”
