Vaccine supply is an issue says GP
Despite the speedy rollout of the coronavirus vaccine, GPs say they are concerned about the quantity and predictability of the vaccine distribution. Professor Azeem Majeed says local vaccine sites are "running out of vaccine quite regularly", adding that "if we had more supplies of vaccine, we could certainly vaccinate more quickly and vaccinate a lot more people." He described vaccine distribution as a "very stop-start process" whereby "we vaccinate for a few days and then we stop for a week" as the site waits for more vaccine to arrive. Report by Thomasl.
