The 21 Best (Non-Clichéd) Gifts for Mums, Because Do You Know What Day Sunday Is?

Esquire (UK) Logo By Miranda Collinge of Esquire (UK) | Slide 1 of 22: What would the ideal gift for a mother be? Hmm, let’s see now. A word of thanks from your children that hasn’t been solicited by the greetings card industry? An uncompromised career trajectory? A good night’s sleep? Come on, Mama Bear, we can’t promise the world! But what we can do is offer some gift ideas that will make mothers feel valued and appreciated, and – not saying that they need it, obviously – perhaps a little revitalised and refreshed. You’ll notice that this list contains no teddy bears clutching hearts, no personalised mugs with family photos on them, and nothing inscribed with the word “Mum” or “Mummy” (*shudder*), because believe it or not, while being a mother is the most important thing we do, it’s also not the only thing we do. So below is a list of presents that those of us who just so happen to be mothers might just so happen to love and be very grateful to receive. (Thanks, honeybuns.)
