One-year-old baby boy dies in window fall

A one-year-old boy has died after falling from the window of a block of flats, police said. An investigation began after the ambulance service contacted police about the fall, which happened at 1.25pm on Saturday at Saville Green in Leeds. The baby was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later, West Yorkshire Police said.
