Shoppers flock to Mansfield pub car park with launch of community stalls

The Sir John Cockle pub, on Sutton Road, Mansfield, offers small businesses the chance to trade between 8am and 2pm every Wednesday in the pub car park free of charge. The community initiative is affectionately known as ‘Cockle Stalls’ by pub owners Laura and Ryan James, who took on the pub last year. A selection of businesses set up shop each Wednesday as hundreds of shoppers flock to the car park for weekly essentials.
