Aldi is selling beer for super cheap to stop it all from going to waste.

Beer-thirsty Brits can grab the cheap boozer after the supermarket announced it would attempt to sell it off to stop it going to waste.

It purchased the booze direct from breweries who aren’t able to supply bars and restaurants at the moment.

There are 13 beers and ales on offer in the Specialbuys range – and the cheapest is Spitfire Gold, which you can get for just under a quid per 500ml, reports the Daily Star.

The same brew is being sold at other supermarkets for more money.

At the time of writing, it’s 25p pricier at Asda and 75p more expensive when you buy from Morrisons.

Aldi is selling 10 more beers at the price of £1.49.

These include Shelby from Thornbridge, Snake Oil from West Berkshire Brewery and Old Hooky from Hook Norton Brewery.

Tangle Foot and Warsteiner is also being sold at an affordable price.

You can get a four-pack of the former for £3.99, while a 12-pack of the latter will retail for £8.99.

Bargain!

Sadly, the offer isn’t available online.
