Holly Willoughby has admitted being "frustrated" over discussion of Adele's weight loss.

The mum-of-three, aged 39, took to This Morning to voice her grievance over the ongoing rhetoric surrounding the chart-topping singer's transformation.

Adele has set tongues wagging with her remarkable weight loss, which has seen her transform her body following a divorce.

Holly, though, has been left tearing her hair out at the images shared by Adele on Instagram last week.

The mum-of-three took to the ITV1 daytime favourite to issue a poignant plea to the public as the subject of Adele's weight loss trended on Twitter.

"To be fair I get very frustrated when we're talking about diets," she told co-presenter Phillip Schofield, and guest Vanessa Feltz.

She added: "I know you've been on here talking about your own battle with weight loss and you tried every diet in the book and none of those worked for you and you went for more drastic measures which for you, worked out brilliantly."

Vanessa replied: "It's not so much as the diets don't work. They do work.

“But the problem is the bit where you've lost all the weight and everyone says, ‘you look great’.

"You feel great and people start to treat you in a different way, which is awful because you're the same inside and out.

"However, because you feel great you celebrate, but then you go back to normal life which - for most people with people with a weight problem - involves having a bit of chocolate."
